About IslamicArtKJ
The story behind the lines
Since childhood, I’ve been fascinated by symmetry, geometry, and the quiet perfection of precise lines.
I grew up watching my father — an engineer — draw blueprints with his set of rulers and Rotring pens. The way he transformed blank paper into intricate technical drawings felt like pure magic. Those moments in the 80s and 90s left a lasting mark.
Years later, in the early 2000s, I watched an architect create entire worlds in AutoCAD, and again I was mesmerized. My education took me in a very different direction, far from engineering, but the passion for structure and precision never left. Whenever time allowed, I began exploring vector graphics, learning how to build digital designs with the same discipline as technical drawing — but this time, just for fun.
Then came the art that captured my soul: Islamic geometry and calligraphy. Their beauty is built on balance, symmetry, and divine proportion — qualities that spoke directly to the child who once watched blueprints unfold. I began studying classical calligraphy styles — Thuluth, Diwani, Kufic, and others — discovering the same harmony and rhythm that my father once found in engineering.
What began as curiosity has grown into a lifelong passion — a fusion of technical precision and spiritual beauty — expressed today as Islamic digital art and calligraphy.
Each design I create is my way of continuing that legacy of precision, symmetry, and creativity — reimagined for the digital age.
